Internet MESA Tools
From IHEWiki
These MESA servers are available for Internet testing. There are these general areas
- HL7 and DICOM Servers are available with TLS certificates. We are using a certificate signed by the WUSTL CA that is similar to what we distributed to everyone. In theory, because you were given the certificate from the CA, you don't need my certificate. Try to connect and see how this works. (PIX/PDQ should be ready next Monday.)
- For DICOM servers, try sending a C-ECHO. If that works, your certificate exchange should be good.
- For HL7 servers, try sending an ADT/A04 message.
- Next week, we will have PIX/PDQ queries working with TLS
- Today, we have PIX/PDQ servers running with the data used in the MESA PIX/PDQ tests. This might be useful for debugging a problem you are having. You still need to run the MESA tests and upload those results.
- Audit Repositories:
- I am now (2009.11.19) running two Audit Repositories, see the table below
- You can see the log files created by these: http://ihe-kudu.wustl.edu/mesa-logs
- In the mesa-logs folder, syslog_server_5425.log and syslog_server_5426.log refer to the RFC that defines transport
- In the mesa-logs/syslog folder, you will see a folder with your IP address (assuming you got through). In that folder, you should see a triplet of files for each message you sent:
- ...packet.txt is the full packet
- ...payload.txt is the payload, including the BOM
- ...payload.xml is the payload sans BOM
- I think this item is the big win.
- When you perform XDS testing with Bill, he has a tool that generates a patient ID, and you use that for document submission/retrieve.
- If you provide me with that patient ID with demographics, I will insert it into my PIX and PDQ servers so you can query my PIX/PDQ servers as you are performing XDS testing.
- For PIX testing, you will also need to supply a local ID.
- For the identifier in the Affinity Domain, I will only accept the value for NA 2010 testing. No other values.
- Today, the method is to send me an email that I can decipher (email to Steve Moore).
- In the future (as in Monday), I will give you an SQL template that you will complete and email to Steve Moore.
- In the distant future, there will be a web page where you can enter that information.
- Sales alert: If you buy the upgrade, we will have a web application where you can enter the demographics and that data gets placed both in the NIST registry database and in the PIX/PDQ databases.
