This section describes test cases that are generally associated with the Documentation-based Referral Request Integration Profile.

Test 13300: DRR Referral Dispatcher Description

The purpose of this test is to understand the operation of your system, in particular which transport mechanism(s) you support in receiving the transferred Referral document(s). This will help us with planning for tests with your peers at the Connectathon.

Reference

ITI TF-1:22

Instructions

1. Create a text file with answers to these three questions (300 words or less):

(a) Describe what mechanism your system supports to receive the referral document(s) in the XDS folder created by the Referral Requestor. Do you use XDM (USB, CD-R, or email)? XDR? XDS.a? XDS.b?

(b) How does your system import the value of the XDSFolder.uniqueID? (eg Manual input? Reading the OCR-A font? Reading a barcode?)

(c) The DRR profile requires that the Referral Requestor 'process' the referral request, but the mechanism for processing is not specified. Describe in general terms how your system uses the contents of the referral.

2. Upload the text file into the connectathon webtool as the results for this test.

Evaluation

The Project Managers will use these results for Connectathon planning.
